Cynthia Somma, CPC, CMM, founded Physicians 1st in 2003 after working for 17 years as a practice administrator. Recognizing that overseeing billing is the largest administrative challenge of any medical practice, Cindy created Physicians 1st to alleviate that need and the frustrations that go with it so that the doctors can concentrate on medicine instead of paperwork. Cindy and her staff know first hand about all of the daily, time-consuming challenges presented by privacy laws, changing medical insurance coverage, and inefficient/incorrect entry of information. They keep abreast of new developments and techniques by continued attendance at specialty seminars as well as Medicare CEU seminars.
